"I Steal Motorcycle Anytime I’m Broke" - 24 Years Old Nigerian Man Reveals

According to 24-year-old Nigerian man and robbery suspect, identified as Manyan Gimba, 'he steals motorcycles any time he goes broke after which he uses the proceeds to sort out his personal needs.

The young man from Gimba of Angulu village, Katcha Local Government Areawho was arrested by the Niger State police command for allegedly stealing a Bajaj motorcycle valued at N230,000, reportedly disclosed further that he had been involved in stealing of the motorcycles for over five years.

According to report the suspect was also alleged to have connived with his accomplices to rob people of their motorcycles at different locations in Wodata village, Agaie Local Government Area of the state but nemesis caught up with him after he was apprehended after dispossessing one Gimba Idrisu of Wadada village of his Bajaj motorcycle.

While being interrogated by newsman, Gimba who disclosed that he had stolen several motorcycles which he sold to meet his financial responsibilities said;

“Frankly speaking, any time I can not meet up with my personal needs, the thing to do was to dispossess people of their motorcycles or other valuables that can fetch me money quickly.

“Since I’m unemployed and there is no job anywhere, I had to engage myself in a thing that would fetch me money for survival, either negative or positive things, I don’t mind.”

The Police Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Abubakar, who confirmed that the suspect was arrested by a team of police detectives attached to Agaie Division said the operatives recovered the stolen motorcycle from him.

He added as soon as investigation is completed, Gimba and his accomplice will be immediately charged to court.
