21st, 22nd August Declared Public Holiday By Federal Government To Celebrate 2018 Eid-El-Kabir


Tuesday, 21st August and Wednesday, 22nd August has been declared public holidays by the Federal Government in celebration of 2018 Eid-el-Kabir.

According to the Minister of Interior, Retired Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau, who made the declaration on Thursday 16th of August 2018 in Abuja in a statement issued by Dr Mohammed Umar, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Nigerians both  home and abroad are all urged to support the present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in its determination to foster a peaceful and united Nigeria.

While also wishing Nigerians a happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration, Dambazau enjoined the citizens to use the period to embrace the virtues of love and sacrifice for the unity and development of the country.
