Photo: Military Arrests 5 Suspects Over Reprisal On Fulani Community In Adamawa


Five suspects have been reportedly arrested by the Nigerian Army for setting a Fulani community, Dakali, ablaze in Adamawa, two days after suspected herdsmen attacked Dowayan village in Demsa Local Government Area of the state.

According to report, the five suspects reportedly attacked the Fulani settlement as reprisal for the attack on their community after suspected herdsmen attacked their community on Saturday 23rd of June and killed 18 people while also destroying properties during the attack.

The suspects were reportedly arrested while carrying out the attack and handed over to the Adamawa State Police Command for further investigation. Some of the items recovered from them includes one local pistol, a knife, four mobile phones, one empty 10-liter jerry can and other weapon.
